JanSport Right Pack

The Jansport right pack has a leather bottom and premium Cordura Fabric for superior durability.  As with all Jansport backpacks it is loved for its durability.  The difference in the Jansport backpacks are mainly in the size.  This is one of the small ones - but still large enough to carry a lot of stuff.  There are college students that use it and find it convenient for their needs.  The Jansport right pack backpack is considered the classic daypack.
 
This is considered the all-purpose backpack.  People use it for field trips, day trips, on vacations, school bags and as a carry-on on airplanes.  What distinguishes it from the other Jansport backpacks is that it has a leather bottom making it extremely durable. They are very comfortable because they are light weight and carry just the right amount of items so it won’t weight you down.  This is a basic backpack and is large enough to carry most laptops.  It is functional, study, and durable.  
 
There is one large main compartment with an internal sleeve for a 15 inch computer. It also has a front utility pocket to keep essentials organized and a front stash pocket. If you have an older Jansport right pack backpack – you may want to check out the latest models.  The color choices have really been updated.  Some are super cool!
 
It weighs 1lb. 4 oz. and has a web handle. Its dimensions are 18 inches high, 13 inches wide and 8.5 inches deep. That’s 1900 cubic inches of storage. The Jansport right pack doesn't come in as many colors as some of their other styles, but there is a large enough variety to find something you’ll like.
 
It comes in several shades of blue, purple, green, red, black, gray, pink and pink plaid. A corduroy and a heather plaid are also available. There is a style called the monochromatic in which the leather bottom is the same color as the backpack.  Another style has the leather bottom an actual leather color.  It has been found that different stores and online dealers have this backpack in different colors.  So if you can't find the color you want - keep looking. It is probably out there.
 
The reviews on this backpack are very positive.  It is smaller than the big student backpack and can be used for a younger student.  A lot of people like it for day hiking since it’s big enough to carry just what you need for the day without weighing you down.  Of course, everyone raves about its durability - which seems to be Jansport's highest quality. The front compartment on the newer models is supposed to be bigger and better.
 
There was one complaint about it not standing up to a heavy rain.  As with everything that has a possibility of being exposed to heavy downpours, it should be sprayed with a waterproofing product. One review said they had had it 20 years and it was still durable. Another complaint was that some thought the price was a little high - but they seemed to always say that it was worth it.  So I guess you get what you pay for and Jan Sport is worth the money.
